Subbar is part of a collective business premises in Eindhoven (NL) called Plan-B. Subbar is a multi-level restaurant. Each floor has its own appearance and function. From party basement, lunch & buffet entrance to rooftop terrace. The brand identity visually connects all these spaces. The most important visual element in the brand identity is the Subbarine; a vehicle that changes its look & feel depending on the (floor) level.

Level travel
The name Subbar is a direct result of the special fact that the restaurant is located at multiple (sub)levels in one building complex. You can travel to the different levels while you can enjoy good food & drinks, have lunch with a client, have fun with your friends on a Friday night basement party or relax on a sunny Sunday on the rooftop terrace.
The horizontal line in the Subbar logo represents the different floor levels in the building — travel to every level to get all Subbar experiences.
Subbar — Interior design
Studio Jeroen Wand
The brand identity came to life for real when interior and product designer Jeroen Wand joined Rich Dust to realize the spatial identity and set up the sublevels one by one.
Custom bars, chairs & tables visually connecting with the brand illustrations make it a total Subbar experience.
Custom interior design
The spatial elements are an extension of the Subbar brand identity. Similar Objects, shapes, colors and materials are used to optimally connect. Visitors enter not only a place to work, eat, drink and relax… They enter an exciting and imaginative Subbar world.
