The Ostrich is a pretty impressive animal. It is the biggest and fastest walking bird on earth. And… the famous Dutch beer brand Brouwerij ‘t IJ mascot.

Each year around Easter Brouwerij ‘t IJ will present their newly brewed Easter beer. Brand manager Louis Croonen came up with the idea to create a small Easter Egg Exhibition to showcase their Easter beer. He sent thirty big Ostrich Eggs to thirty different designers. Rich Dust was one of them. The design result: A fully hand illustrated Ostrich Egg Beer Barrel. Richly decorated. Flickering gold. It contains exactly 130cl beer and keeps it nice and cold!

130cl. Easter Beer — Alc. 7%  Slightly tingling taste. Top fermented and unpasteurized. Drinking temp. 8-10 °C.
